A wave of melancholy washed over me, took me by surprise, leaving me helpless and defenceless, albeit the gaiety in the room. My train of thoughts halted abruptly in its tracks; an imminent newbie enthroned itself rendering my brain to malfunction. This appalling experience left me petrified. Piling work seemed pale in comparison to the emotional turmoil battling in my overwrought mind. What a disgusting day!
